Connor - Chaska Senior

Tonight I got to do something new for me...take pictures in the pool.  SO awesome!!!  This Chaska senior is a diver, so were were pretty lucky and had great timing, and we were able to get into the pool for a few pics.  He had seen picture he kind of liked, and I think we were able to get one pretty similar!!  I LOVE how they turned out..I hope you do too.  Clearly, the camera loved Connor too and he was a natural.  I don't think he took a bad picture!!  I could hardly narrow it down for your sneak peak.  I hope you like them.  I can't wait to get to the rest!

I Adore This Little Girl :)

Tomorrow one of my dearest friend's little girl turns 1!  I got to take some photos of her and her family today, and of course of Miss O by herself.  She was my second little newborn to photograph last year (click here to see).  I think both sweet O and I have come a very long way in a year!  Thank you S family for going with me along this journey, and letting me practice on you guys along the way!  We are so lucky to have you as friends, and I can't wait to see our little girls continue to grow up together.  Miss O always makes me feel good about myself, as she always laughs and smiles at me!  I love it!! As always, I had a great morning with you and your beautiful girl! (Who, by the way, I think I will make my poster girl, as she is so sweet and her dress matches my logo perfectly!)  Happy Birthday To You!!!

Hello Handsome!

Yesterday I got to photograph a 6 month old cutie, with perhaps the biggest blue eyes ever!  I know I say that a lot (it seems I get to take pictures of all the babies with the most beautiful eyes) but this little man's eyes just SPARKLE!  He was sweet as pie, and I had a great time spending a beautiful Saturday morning with his family.  I hope you all had fun too!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

Max - Chaska Senior

Yesterday I got the pleasure of photographing a Chaska senior.  It was a beautiful night for photos, and this ranked up there as one of my favorite sessions.  We ventured around Chaska, as well as hung around his own beautiful backyard.  I've had so much fun exploring Chaska this summer, and we even found some brand new spots tonight!  Also, Max was full of character and personality and had me cracking up quite a few times!  I hope I captured your "true essence" Max!  He is also a lacrosse player, so we headed down to the brand new field for some pics there as well.  Thanks for a great time last night M family..I hope you enjoy your preview!  I wish you all the best this year Max!

I think me nearly rolling an ankle on the darn rocks, or swatting mosquitoes and trying to hold steady to take these pics at the same time really got that beautiful real smile out! - Hey...whatever it takes right?! :)

Check out these cutie cousins of a family I got to photograph a few months ago.  They were up visiting from Kansas, so we did a photo session before they headed off on vacation!  I had a great morning with you.  Thanks for being patient and helpful with my backdrop stand issues...a little trouble-shooting and we were all good, and it is all fixed now!  Whew.. :)  Thanks for a fun morning.  I hope you enjoy your vacation and your preview!

Look Out Dad!

I say that because this daddy better watch out...as he has some beauties on his hands!  This little sweetheart is about 1 month old and has a cutie pie big sister to look out for her.  She slept great for being older, and was awake plenty for us too.  Her sister T sure loved the camera too, and was my assistant.  She went and got her camera and took pictures right along side me.  I got the cutest picture of her taking a picture of me!  I forgot it with this set but will try to get it up tomorrow.  Thank you so much for having me out.  It was fun to meet your new little one.  We'll sure miss you at daycare this year T!  Enjoy your time with your family!

R.J. - Chaska High Senior

Yesterday I photographed another soon-t0-be Chaska senior.  After a few formal shots at his house, we headed to downtown Jordan for some outdoor pictures.  Jordan is such a beautiful spot to take photos.  There is such an awesome variety of places, all close together.  We even found some new spots I hadn't used yet, and my new favorite place down by the old brewery.  I love this first picture!  As always with seniors, here is a huge sneak peek.  I can never pick favorites..we use so many cool spots, I can never narrow it down for the blog!  It was great to meet you, and your family!  Have a great senior year!
